Got tired outdoor chairs, weathered pots, or a metal table that’s seen better days? A fresh coat of White Knight Squirts® spray paint can bring them back to life. It’s quick, colourful, and perfect for craft and upcycling projects.

Step 1: Prep Your Surface

Great results start with good prep.

  • Clean away dirt, dust, and cobwebs.

  • Remove any rust with a wire brush or sandpaper.

  • Sand smooth surfaces lightly so the paint grips.

  • Protect the ground with a drop sheet or old cardboard.

Step 2: Shake the Can

  • Shake well for at least 1 minute.

  • Keep shaking occasionally while you work.

Step 3: Test Spray

  • Spray onto cardboard for 2–3 seconds.

  • This clears the nozzle and ensures an even spray pattern.

Step 4: Spray Evenly

  • Hold the can upright, about 20cm from the surface.

  • Start spraying just before the object and finish just past it.

  • Use smooth, sweeping strokes.

  • Overlap each pass by about 25% to avoid patchy colour.

Step 5: Build Up Coats

  • Apply 2–3 light coats rather than one heavy coat.

  • Allow about 1 hour between coats.

Step 6: Finish Strong

  • For outdoor use, consider sealing with a clear top coat for extra durability.

  • Let items dry completely before putting them back outside.

DIY Tip: Spray painting works best in mild, dry weather. Avoid windy or damp days.
