DIY Painted Pot Plants with White Knight Squirts

Looking for a quick DIY that adds a pop of colour to your space, or makes a charming little gift? Second-hand pots + White Knight Squirts = a match made in crafty heaven.

This simple project proves you don’t need a big budget to make something stylish. Just a bit of masking tape, a few sprays and a whole lot of #CanDo spirit.

What You’ll Need

Budget-friendly or second-hand pot plants

White Knight Squirts (your choice from 40+ colours!)

Masking tape

Cleaning cloth & soap

A plant to pot at the end (or gift!)

Step 1: Find Your Perfect Pot

Pick a pot with a shape you love; ceramic, terracotta, plastic, anything works.

Give it a quick wipe to remove dust and dirt so the paint sticks.

Step 2: Spray Your Base Coat

For those wanting two colours, spray on your base coat in smooth, even passes. Let it dry fully before moving on.

Step 3: Tape Your Design

Once touch dry, use masking tape to mark out stripes, angles, verticals, horizontals, whatever suits your style.

There’s no wrong answer here. Just design and have fun.

Step 4: Spray Your Secondary Coat

Grab your second White Knight Squirts colour and spray your pot evenly. With 40+ colours to choose from, you can go bright, neutral, metallic, pastel, whatever tickles your fancy!

If you are using one colour, give it a second coat for added durability.

Let it dry for 30 minutes.

Step 5: Peel & Reveal

Remove your masking tape slowly to reveal crisp, clean lines.

Step 6: Add a Plant & Enjoy (or Gift It!)

Pop in your favourite plant, herbs, succulents, a little fiddle leaf, anything you love.
Place it proudly in your home or gift it to someone who deserves a thoughtful, handmade surprise.

Another simple, stylish, budget-friendly #CanDo project complete.
