Bench Top Clear

White Knight Bench Top Clear may be applied over laminate bench tops that have been painted with White Knight Laminate Paint.

Interior use only.

Bench tops coated with White Knight Bench Top Clear can be cleaned with mild, non-abrasive household cleaners. Avoid use of abrasive cleaning products which can damage the finish.

• KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
• This product is highly flammable. Store and use away from heat and eliminate any source of ignition.
• Soak any clothes used in water immediately after use as they may self ignite.
• If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show the container or label. Do not induce vomiting.
• If in eyes, immediately flush with running water for at least 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention.
• Avoid breathing vapour or mist.
• Use only with adequate ventilation.
• If on skin, remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Do not use solvents or thinners.
• Warning - Misuse by concentrating and inhaling contents can be harmful or fatal.

THIS PRODUCT IS A POLYISOCYANATE AND CONTAINS LESS THAN 0.015% MONOMERIC DIISOCYANATE.

• Do not pour unwanted paint down the drain. Keep unwanted uncatalysed paint in sealed containers for disposal via special chemical waste collections.
• Solidified catalysed paint may be disposed of as non-hazardous solid waste.
• Empty paint containers should be left open in a well ventilated area to dry out. When dry, recycle steel containers via can recycling programs.
• Disposal of empty paint containers via domestic recycling programs may differ between local authorities. Check with your local council first.

• Correct surface preparation is critical to the success of the painting project. It is essential that the following steps are taken:
• White Knight Laminate Paint is part of a system. Surface must first be painted with White Knight Laminate Paint following label directions.
• Painted laminate surface must be dry (at least 24 hours after paint application).
• Ensure that the bench top is clean, dry and free of grease, polish and other contaminants.
• Stir Part A thoroughly with a broad, flat stirrer in a circular lifting motion
• Add Part B to Part A. Mixing ratio is 2 parts A: 1 part B by volume. When mixing Part A and Part B in quantities less than the pack size use a calibrated container or ruler to ensure the correct mixing ratio.
• Stir mixture for 5 minutes and continue to stir at regular intervals during application

1. Stir mixture with a broad flat stirrer in a circular lifting motion for at least 5 minutes and continue to stir at regular intervals during application.
2. Apply 1 coat by brush or roller. Do not spray. Best result is achieved by application with a foam roller and by laying off evenly to achieve a consistent finish.
3. Apply a second coat (mix fresh product) after 6 hours.

Do not use when air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 35°C or in excessive humidity.

Do not apply to damp surfaces or when rainfall is imminent, as moisture contamination will prevent the curing process resulting in a soft finish.

1 hour. Do not use product after pot life has been exceeded.

Approximately 20m² per litre.

Touch dry in 1 hour. Re-coat after 6 hours (mix fresh product). Maximum adhesion and hardness may take 7 days.

Refrain from use during first 48 hours and avoid exposure to steam and condensation as the system cures. Light use for the first 7 days.

Drying will be slower in cold or humid conditions, in the absence of ventilation or where heavy film builds are applied.

Clean brushes and equipment with water immediately after use.
