White Knight Touch-up Paint is an acrylic formulation specifically designed for the repair and maintenance of factory pre-painted metal surface. The excellent adhesion, high coverage and durability makes Touch-up Paint ideal for spot repairs of gutters, roller doors and fences.

Preparation

Preparation

The surface must be thoroughly cleaned and free from grease, oil, dirt and rust and other contaminants. Sand glossy surfaces with a fine grade paper and clean with mineral turps before application. BEFORE APPLICATION: Cover all necessary areas to protect from overspray. It is essential to shake the can for at least one minute after mixing ball rattles to ensure product uniformity. Shake can occasionally during use. Do not use when the air or surface temperature is below 15°C or above 30°C or in excessive humidity.

Application Details

Spray outside or in a well ventilated area away from fire and heaters. Test spray first on a small inconspicuous area to ensure surface compatibility and finish suitability. Hold the can upright approximately 15-20 cm from the surface. Press button firmly. Spray with a smooth sweeping motion. Apply a pre-wetting mist coat followed by a full even coat. Overlap each spray pass. Repeat if necessary. To prevent paint sagging, avoid spraying too close to the surface or spraying too heavy a coat. AFTER SPRAYING: To clean nozzle after use and prevent blocking, turn can upside down and press button until only gas escapes.

Up to 1 - 1.5 square metres per unit depending on the nature of the surface and the amount of overspray.
Drying Times

Drying Times

Touch dry 10 minutes. Re-Coat: after 1 hour. Drying times may be extended in low temperature and high humidity.

HANDY HINT

Produces a satin finishes that matches colorbond colours.
Can be used on most powder-coated surfaces that have been cleaned and sanded with 600 # sand paper.
To remove a child proof cap insert a screwdriver in the cap and lever it up
The horizontal setting is used when spraying up and down and press button until only gas escapes.
