Suitable Surfaces

Use the unique finish of Spray Stone on most interior surfaces including metal, wood, ceramic, clay, glass, furniture, lamps and other decorative items.

Preparation

The surface must be thoroughly cleaned and free from grease, oil, dirt and other surface contaminates. Lightly sand previously painted and glossy surfaces. Clean and allow to dry. BEFORE SPRAYING:  Cover all necessary areas to protect from overspray. It is essential to shake the can for at least one minute after mixing ball rattles to ensure product uniformity. Shake can occasionally during use. Do not use when the air or surface temperature is below 15°C or above 30°C or in excessive humidity. Spray outside or in a well ventilated area away from fire and heaters. Test spray first on a small inconspicuous area to ensure surface compatibility and finish suitability.

Application Details

Hold the can upright approximately 30-45 cm from the surface. Press button firmly. Spray with a smooth sweeping motion. Overlap each spray pass. Repeat if necessary. To prevent paint sagging, avoid spraying too close to the surface or spraying too heavy a coat. You can vary the stone appearance by allowing the original surface colour to show through, or by completely covering the surface, overlapping each stroke.
