Splashes can be applied on a variety of suitably primed or sealed surfaces to give a durable gloss finish.
Preparation

Preparation

The surface must be thoroughly cleaned and free from grease, oil, dirt and rust scale. Lightly sand previously painted and glossy surfaces. Prime steel with White Knight Metal Primer, followed by one coat of White Knight Splashes Undercoat, allowing adequate drying between coats. No primer is needed on timber except where tannin staining may be present (eg, hardwoods). Use Splashes Undercoat first. Apply one coat of White Knight SLS Etch Primer and one coat of Splashes Undercoat to new galvanised iron and non-ferrous metal.

Mix thoroughly before use. Apply one coat by brush, lightly sand between coats. Do not use when the air or surface temperature is below 15°C or above 30°C or in excessive humidity. Pack Sizes

Up to 14 square metres per litre depending on the nature of the surface.
Drying Times

Drying Times

Touch dry 30 minutes. Re-Coat: After 2 hours. Drying times will be slower in cold or humid conditions, in the absence of ventilation or where heavy film builds are applied.
