White Knight Metal Primer is an anti-corrosive steel and structural primer. The combination of anti-corrosive pigments and tough resins provide a rust-inhibiting barrier with excellent adhesion.

Metal Primer is ideal for interior or exterior use on steel, wrought iron and all ferrous metals.
Preparation

Preparation

The surface must be thoroughly cleaned, dry and free from grease, oil, dirt, salt rust scale and other contaminants. Remove loose rust and flaking paint with a wire brush, scraper or mechanical sander back to bare metal.
Application Details

Application Details

White Knight Metal Primer may be applied by brush, roller or spray. Stir thoroughly with a broad, flat stirrer in a circular lifting motion for at least 5 minutes before use. Stir at regular intervals during application. Do not use when the air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C. Pay special attention to sharp edges where the wet film may draw away

Coverage

Up to 14 square metres per litre depending on the nature of the surface. Clean Up with mineral turps
Drying Times

Drying Times

Drying Times Touch dry: 4 - 6 hours. Re-Coat: After 16 hours. Drying times will be slower in cold or humid conditions, in the absence of ventilation or where heavy film builds are applied.

Clean brushes and equipment with Rust Guard Solvent or mineral turps.
