White Knight Laminate Paint is a high performance enamel specifically developed to give dated laminate and melamine surfaces a new lease of life. Laminate Paint is easy to use, dries to a hard wearing satin finish and provides the perfect way to completely transform old furniture and kitchen or bathroom cupboards without the expense of replacement. White Knight Laminate Paint can also be used on tiles where a satin finish is required.

White Knight Laminate Paint is part of a simple laminate painting system. LAMINATE AND MELAMINE SURFACES MUST FIRST BE PRIMED WITH WHITE KNIGHT TILE & LAMINATE PRIMER.

Application Details

Application Details

Stir thoroughly with a broad, flat stirrer in a circular lifting motion for at least 5 minutes before use. Stir at regular intervals during application. Apply two coats using a high quality brush. For Silver, use a foam roller and finish off by lightly rolling in the one direction. Lightly sand between coats using #600 wet ’n’ dry abrasive paper. Do not apply when air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C or above when humidity is high.

Up to 12 sq. metres per litre depending on the nature of the surface. Clean Up: Clean All equipment mineral turps immediately after use.

Drying Times

Drying Times

Touch dry in 2 hours. Recoat after 6 hours. Laminate Paint is fully dry after 8 hours but achieves full hardness over a period of days. For the first week after painting, protect from hard knocks and do not subject to harsh cleaning. Drying will be slower in cold or humid conditions, in the absence of ventilation or where heavy film builds are applied.

Ensure the surface is cleaned with Tile and Laminate Cleaner prior to using the White Knight Tile and Laminate Primer.
Laminate Paint produces a satin finish, if you require a gloss finish use Tile Paint instead.
