Application Details

Brush: Stir thoroughly with a broad, flat stirrer before and during use. Do not shake to avoid air entrapment. Apply using a brush. To prevent runs avoid overloading the brush. Final brush strokes should be made with the grain to ensure even appearance. Do not use when the air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C. Aerosol: Do not use when the air or surface temperature is below 15°C or above 30°C or in excessive humidity. Spray outside or in a well ventilated area away from fire and heaters. Test spray first on a small inconspicuous area to ensure surface compatibility and finish suitability. Hold the can upright approximately 15-20 cm from the surface. Press button firmly. Spray with a smooth sweeping motion. Apply a pre-wetting mist coat followed by a full even coat. Overlap each spray pass. Repeat if necessary. To prevent paint sagging, avoid spraying too close to the surface or spraying too heavy a coat. NEW AND STAINED TIMBER Apply two or more coats of Instant Clear Finish, lightly sanding with #400 grade paper between coats.
