White Knight Glow in the Dark is a water-based acrylic that actually glows in the dark when the lights are turned off. Glow in the Dark is a craft product and dries to a durable decorative finish.

Preparation

Preparation

The surface must be clean, dry and free from dust, dirt, grease, oil and other contaminants. Remove all loose and flaking paint. Thoroughly sand glossy or enamel surfaces. Fill nail holes and cracks with appropriate filler and sand smooth. Treat any mould with suitable anti-mould solution. Spot prime bare areas with a suitable primer. When painting over oil based paint first apply one coat of White Knight Strokes All Purpose Oil Based Undercoat.

Application Details

Glow in the Dark can be applied over any background colour, however, a white background will give the best results. Additional coats will increase the brightness and lengthen the glow time. White Knight Glow in the Dark may be applied by brush or roller. Stir thoroughly with a broad, flat stirrer in a circular lifting motion for at least 5 minutes before use. Apply 2 coats. Do not use when the air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C or when the humidity is very high.

Up to 12 square metres per litre depending on the nature of the surface.
Drying Times

Drying Times

Touch dry: 30 minutes. Recoat: After 2 hours Drying times will be slower in cold or humid conditions, in the absence of ventilation or where heavy film builds are applied
Clean Up

Clean Up

Clean brushes and equipment with water immediately after use.
