Can be used on common surfaces such as timber, metal and masonry. Note: On exterior surfaces, regular re-painting may be required to maintain brightness.

Preparation

Preparation

The surface must be clean, dry and free from dirt, grease, oil, rust scale and other contaminants. Remove all loose and flaking paint. Thoroughly sand glossy or enamel surfaces with 600# wet n dry abrasive paper Clean and allow to dry before painting.To achieve extra brightness, it is recommended that a white base coat be applied first. Timber, masonry and bare ferrous metal should be primed with White Knight Super Primer before painting. For galvanised iron and other non-ferrous metal surfaces use White Knight SLS Etch Primer. Fluoro Colour may be overcoated with an acrylic clear to extend the life of the painted surface, some loss in colour brightness may occur as a result.

BEFORE SPRAYING
Cover all necessary areas to protect from overspray. It is essential to shake the can for at least one minute after mixing ball rattles to ensure product uniformity. Shake can occasionally during use. Remove the cap

carefully. Avoid using sharp objectswhich may puncture the can.

Application Details

Do not use when the air or surface temperature is below 15°C or above 30°C or in excessive humidity.

Aerosol: Spray outside or in a well ventilated area away from fire and heaters. Test spray first on a small inconspicuous area to ensure surface compatibility and finish suitability. Hold the can upright approximately 15-20 cm from the surface. Press button firmly. Spray with a smooth sweeping motion. Apply a pre-wetting mist coat followed by a full even coat. Overlap each spray pass. Repeat if necessary. To prevent paint sagging, avoid spraying too close to the surface or spraying too heavy a coat. Brush on: Mix thoroughly before use. Apply 2 coats by brush.

After Spraying: To clean the nozzle after use and prevent blocking, turn the can upside down and press button until only gas escapes.

Aerosol: Up to 1 - 1.5 square metres per unit depending on the nature of the surface and the amount of overspray. Brush on: Up to 1 square metre per litre depending on the nature of the surface.

Touch dry Aerosol: 10 minutes Brush on: 30 minutes Re-Coat Aerosol: After 1 hour. Brush on: After 2 hours Drying times may be extended in low temperature and high humidity.

Clean Up

Clean Up

Aerosol: Overspray can be removed while still wet with Rust Guard Solvent or mineral turps. Brush on product: Clean brushes and equipment water immediately after use.

To remove a child proof cap insert a screwdriver in the cap and lever it up
The horizontal setting is used when spraying up and down and press button until only gas escapes.
To clean nozzle after use and prevent blocking turn the can upside down and press button until only gas escapes.
