White Knight Life Styles Acrylic Sealer Undercoat is a high opacity formulation designed to seal and undercoat paper-faced boards, timber and other surfaces. The outstanding hiding power makes an ideal preparation for both oil and water-based topcoats.

Suitable Surfaces

White Knight Life Styles Acrylic Sealer Undercoat is ideal for use under oil and water based top coats on exterior and interior surfaces. It provides a sound base coat on plasterboard, fibro, bricks and cement render.
Preparation

Preparation

New Work: Bare Plasterboard: Prepare surface as detailed above. Ensure all joints are sanded smooth before painting. Fibro, Brick, Cement Render: Prepare surface as detailed above. Cement render, concrete and mortar should be aged for 4 weeks before painting. Timber: Prepare surface as detailed above. Sand bare timber smooth before painting. Exterior timber should be primed with Strokes Oil Based Wood Primer first. Previously painted surfaces: Prepare surface as detailed above. Remove all loose and flaking paint and spot prime as for new work. Thoroughly sand glossy surfaces. When painting over oil based paint use Strokes Oil Based Undercoat.
Application Details

Application Details

Stir paint in a circular lifting motion for 5 minutes before use. Apply one coat of Life Styles Acrylic Sealer Undercoat by brush or roller. Do not use when the air or surface temperature is below 10°C or above 30°C, or when the humidity is very high.
Coverage

Coverage

Up to 16 square metres depending on the nature of the surface.
Drying Times

Drying Times

Touch dry 30 minutes. Re-Coat: After 2 hours. Drying times will be slower in cold or humid conditions, in the absence of ventilation or where heavy film builds are applied.
Clean Up

Clean Up

Clean brushes and equipment with water immediately after use.
