Painting with an Aerosol Can

To remove a child proof cap insert a screwdriver in the cap and lever it up The horizontal setting is used when spraying up and down and press button until only gas escapes. To clean nozzle after use and prevent blocking turn the can upside down and press button until only gas escapes. 

Project Check List for Aerosol Painting

 1.        Clean the surface you are about to paint with a suitable cleaner eg; Sugar Soap, turps etc

.2.        Have lots of rags handy for any cleaning.

3.        Drop Sheet to protect from any over spray, overspray can travel long distances so make sure you cover a wide area.

4.        Masking Material eg; tape, newspaper, cardboard to ensure the paint goes on the areas you want it too and also to protect surrounding areas from paint.

5.        Sand paper to prepare the surface, try using a dust mask to protect yourself from the dust.

6.        Have available turps or Rust Guard Solvent for clean up.

7.        Wearing gloves will protect your hands from paint.
